WHAT IS FIMEX?
Don't click away yet but let's compare learning filmmaking to learning maths (I promise it won't be as boring as it sounds). By learning maths you get taught the subject by the teacher. In film this might be watching a tutorial or a YouTube video. In maths, then you do a practical exercise, by answering questions about what you have learnt. The same should go for film. You should be doing practical exercises to test what you have learnt. But what exercises should you do? As far as I've found there is nowhere that you can find practical filmmaking exercises. So I created FilmEx.
This is your filmmaking textbook.
